basket inspiration



I got a basket from a dear friend for my birthday this week.. I just love it...and thought I would do a painting of it... this is my idea... and sketch... I thought a little wren would look good sitting on it.. I love the textures... you just never know what will inspire you to paint a picture... :)...

I like the flowers below, Dee. Good job. We had a wren living in the wren house earlier this year. Not sure if they are still in it now. Both sparrow houses are now occupied. I guess it was just too easy for some of the off spring to hang out with mom and dad! Keep up with your work. Let me know when your show is coming up.
