A Day at Home

Well.... when cars break down.... we stay home... :)... I will surely miss seeing my grand kids....but after doing all the important things.... like laundry... and packing lunches... and signing bills..... off to the the studio with a pot of tea... and some good music..... and this is what I came up with :)

I turned my pie pumpkin over... and painted it with some acorns.. and a leaf...and then decided to perch my favorite sparrow on it.... basking in the fall sunshine.... :)

Here is my pond picture.... my boss gave me the great idea to put a deer in the picture.... so I put two....it reminds me of Psalm 42..." As the deer pants for the streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God."... that was a great idea.... thanks Debby....:)

This was my last bouquet from the garden this year.... and the new apples have been so delicious, so I thought they would work together... and of course my friendly monarch.... all signs that say end of summer.... It was a good day.....back to work tomorrow....
