Spring things

Had off today ... so I decided to do some small , affordable art pieces.... . I got a calligraphy book from the Library and fell in love with the free form lettering.... so I gave it a try...
I picked some daffies from the garden and a few pansies..and they were my inspiration...
The Spring flowers are on their way..and the colors are wonderful against the new greens... so much to paint....

Laura. .your art is so beautiful. I especially love how you incorporate calligraphy in your work. I loved how you said you could talk on the phone while using your brushes. .that sounds like me blgging and talking or baking and talking. It made me smile for you to say that you could do art and talk. I have not a creative hand with art. .that is why I blog but so admire the gifts God has given you. It's so wonderful that you use them everyday.
I also so appreciate that you prayed Heather's parcel to British Columbia. God blessed me with it's arrival right on time.
