When Traveling Light

I went on a short trip this past week.... and did not want to bring my  bag of watercolor stuff...but could not bare the thought of not having something to paint or draw with... so I stuck my watercolor pencils in my bag with a tiny sketch book... and when the time was right... I enjoyed a good morning catching light on potted flowers that were sitting on the patio... You can have fun with it...and using a wet brush... make the pencil act like a wash...I thoroughly enjoyed it .
