Inspired by snow

I finally took a picture of the snow we have been having .... the first snows are so beautiful..
I love the texture it makes as the white falls against the dark branches... so many shades of browns

and deep sepia that contrast against the white...and then there is the purple grey sky...

It all just begs to paint it..and so I did...

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family..and now we settle in for a long winter... but don't miss its beauty....
